Novelty Knobs

15 Dec

Two fun ideas for changing up an old dresser or desk — changing the knobs is always a great way to give it a fresh look but in both of these (very similar) examples, they’ve used a combination of mix-n-match knobs.  The first are made from vintage brooches.  The second by simply covering wood knobs with fabric.  Both are clever, easy and could give your favorite flea-market find a boost.

I love using decorative knobs. We did that with Lyric’s dresser. I think it’s time for a new look. The princess, frog and castle may be a little too young :)

I have an idea for knobs (tee hee…sorry) – I thought it’s be cute to get vintage knobs and glue corks to them to use as wine stoppers! Wouldn’t that be a fun gift with a bottle?

Love it – great idea. That’s why you’re one of my most creative friends!
