Bonus post – Christmas Card display

21 Dec

A great side benefit of having this blog has been the comments and sharing with friends.  So many great ideas coming in so thanks to all of you who have written comments or sent in ideas.  Michelle sent the photos in this post to me last night and I couldn’t wait to get the ideas up on the site.  If it weren’t snowing like mad here in Dublin, I’d be running out to Hickey’s Home & Fabric store to get a string of Pom Poms to display my cards…but given that it took me over 3 hours to drive a mile last night, I think I’ll have to wait until next year.  In the meantime, enjoy!

Aren’t those so fun? Definitely have to pick up a string of those bad boys when I’m in the US next.

    Hi Amy-

It’s so exciting to see the pictures on the web! I feel almost famous! :) Did you do anything fun today? Like build a snowman? :) Merry! Merry! Michelle

love the pompoms! i ordered red grossgrain to string along our windows and then couldn’t find a fast fix to attach the ribbon – any thoughts are helpful. something that won’t damage the walls, or door sils, but something that will hold on to both the ribbon and the sils? instead, I reverted to just taping each one to the windows. So nice to come into the house after skiing and seeing all the great shots from friends and family! love christmas!! :)
