My inner craft nerd

6 Feb

So, in my post the other day, I referenced a YouTube video from a series of craft videos hosted by Simple Kids Crafts (http://www.simplekidscrafts.com/ ).  I’m totally a kid at heart and I love tarting up a room for a holiday or special event — just ask anyone who happened to live on my floor when I was an RA in college!  I have a ton of teachers in my family and so doing crafts has always been a part of regular life for me.

If you’ve got a crafty kid in your family, you should check out the site — or even if you’re just looking for a few ideas yourself.  I mentioned the Mexican paper flowers the other day and today I thought I would share this cute flower curtain.  It makes me want to revert to my 10-year-old self and create one for my bedroom so that I could have a barrier between me and my stinky sisters (they’re not really stinky — I’m just regressing a little).

Simple instructions even a child can execute are on the video: http://www.simplekidscrafts.com/video/easy-foam-crafts-flower-curtain
