Moroccan meanderings

1 Mar

Kristin and I took a trip to Morocco this time three years ago.  I’ve been thinking a lot lately about wanting to get away which reminded me of our visit to Marrakech so I thought I’d share a few photos from the trip.

This was one of many trips when I’ve been thankful for having a good
telephoto lens which allowed me to observe and take photos of people in “The Square”  (Djemma el Fna) from the third-floor of our cafe above.  We spent a good bit of time enjoying our hot mint teas from above and just people watching.

Lovely photos! I especially enjoyed the colorful shoes, but there is something special about the woman and her shadow. That was a nice shot you captured from afar.

Thanks, Lor — it was an easy place for photography because there’s so many beautiful things to see and do in Morocco
