Rocking-2-gether

4 Jun

Tilly and I really need this chair (although I’m not actually sure how much she’d enjoy the rocking motion from down below).  The design was inspired by a “merge and morph” manipulation of a traditional rocking chair and  a dog house.  The piece was designed last year by Paul Kweton for Barkitecture — an annual design contest in Texas in aid of animal rescue group, Pup Squad. Houston’s best architects, designers, builders and artists create dog houses to be auctioned off in a silent auction benefiting the organisation.
