Before seeing these two images, if you had said to me that you were thinking of painting your mantle orange, I would have thought “EEWWW” and probably would have said, “Oh, you mean like a pumpkin color??”
And then I saw these little gems. Maybe not for everyone but I do think these are two, very tasteful but very bold fireplaces. They work well because the color has such a pop to it and the wall behind is so neutral.
I really want to try to find at least one spot in Tilly’s Cottage where I can use a really bold color. After seeing and posting so many beautiful bold features, I feel like I need to be a bit more fearless in my own home…
